About Trac
Our Story
Trac began as our software engineering capstone at McMaster University (originally MacTransit). It grew out of a simple, stubborn problem we heard and felt year after year: people on campus didn't know where the shuttle was. After positive feedback and response from our faculty, peers, and stakeholder partners, we decided to incorporate as Trac to continue developing and improving our service to bring it into our community's hands.
Our Mission
To answer the age-old question: where is the bus? We want to make taking the shuttle bus as predictable and transparent for everyone as possible. Trac gives commuters a clear way to find their nearest shuttle bus, drivers low-effort controls, and administrators the visibility they need to keep service dependable.
